Information Systems for Management: - Definition and concepts. - Data, Information and Knowledge. - Hardware and Software - Databases Primary data sources - Fundamental concepts of Business Databases - Framework of Processes in the Company Competitive advantage of IS in the organization - The organization as a system - Functional support areas - Classic management applications (ERP, CRM, SCM, SRM, ...) Analysis of case studies: using Microsoft Excel: design of dynamic tables and graphs and their analysis/interpretation. - Creation of dashboards

Objectives
The Information Systems UC aims to guarantee an IS management framework and its impact on the corporate component and its business, where the essential component base of requirements methodologies, databases and processes is systematized, capable of guaranteeing an alignment of the IS with the business. Know the role of systems/applications for management at different levels of management. Know some fundamental standards of information systems in their governance.
