Presentation
Chemistry is a science that studies the nature of matter, its properties and transformations. It is present in our daily lives, in all materials around us, and in all living beings. It is intended to give students a solid and integrated education in general chemistry and its applications such as the role of chemistry in the environment, health and its applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries in the development of new technologies, processes and new products.

Objectives
Objectives
The aim is to develop the sense of observation, reasoning and logic in solving problems and drawing conclusions. Theoretical-practical classes with some laboratory classes aim to prepare the student to work in terms of behavior taking into account the rules of safety, material handling, observation capacity, reasoning and elaboration of a scientific report. Acquire a global perspective on the study of chemistry and its interaction with other sciences. Acquire the basic knowledge to apply in specific areas in the areas of Biochemistry, Biology, Health.
