Presentation
Design Futures I addresses the field of study of the same name, which has gained strong recognition within the design discipline, positioning itself as a decisive factor in the development of visions, strategies, and the materialisation of preferable realities—personal, disciplinary, and social. This course also exposes students to a broad spectrum of technologies applied to design practice, with particular emphasis on digital dimensions, but also on analogue opportunities. Crucially, Design Futures I adopts an interdisciplinary stance, equipping students with a set of design methods and strategies that enable them to approach design practice through multiple lenses in a discipline undergoing constant transitions.
