1. Legal facts. Legal transactions. Classifications of legal transactions. 2. Subjects and objects of legal transactions (continuation). 3. Formation of the legal transaction. 4. Form of transaction. 5. Interpretation and integration of the business declaration. 6. Ineffectiveness and invalidity of the legal transaction. 7. Defects in formation. 8. Content defects. 9. Fault and liability in the formation of contracts. 10. Representation. 11. Legal transactions with limited effectiveness: condition and term. 12. The repercussions of time on legal situations: prescription and expiration.

Objectives
It is intended to provide students with a wide and deep knowledge of the normative concepts, principles and institutes in Portuguese Civil Law in special the legal business. This knowledge will enable students not only to solve specific questions that are asked during the study of this discipline but also to know how to apply civil law in the resolution of concrete cases with a private legal nature in their future academic and professional career.
