Introduction to the thinking of ideas, theories of determinant authors in the history of photography

Description of contents - Introduction to the thought of ideas, theories of key authors in the history of photography, (Barthes, Sontag, W. Benjamin, W. Flusser, P. Dubois, etc.). -Principles for research; methods and processes (importance of bibliography and citation). Broad discussion of ideas and theories of photography. Production of oral and written material from enunciated texts. The intent/synopsis note in a photographic project.

The curricular unit has a theoretical and practical nature, therefore, the methodologies range from the development of cognitive and reflective skills, encouraging analysis and criticism. Proposal for exercises, analysis and discussion of ideas. When justified, there will be classes abroad in a museum, gallery or library.
