  • Objectives

    Objectives

. Acquire a basic understanding of the phenomena of color, light and human vision. . Understand the fundamentals of digital image and color in the digital environment (color spaces, output and input profiles). Understand the implications of these elements on the quality of the final output. . Acquire working skills in scanning with a scanner and digital camera;  . Develop work capacity within a color management workflow, knowing how to use its specific tools to improve the final results. . Acquire the ability to work with spectrophotometers and color targets. . Create color profiles for various devices and check their smooth functioning in color conversion. . Acquire knowledge for the correct capture, processing, transmission and printing of photographic images in the digital medium, including the transition from analog to digital. . Understand professional applications of acquired knowledge.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment
