    Goals: • Understand the general framework of economic analysis; • Analyze the functioning of the economy in terms of its most relevant functions; • Understand the dynamics of the economy and the current context of complexity and uncertainty  Skills and competences to be developed: • Apply reading grids and acquired knowledge to explain economics phenomena; • Interpret the relevant economic issues related to analysis and theory economic; • Effectively communicate the relevant issues of the economy in the different forms of language, written, oral, graphic and numerical; • Be able to develop self-learning processes with a high degree of autonomy and in a group work context.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Innovative methodologies are used that resort to active learning methods that combine the exposition of the matter with the discussion of texts from specialized magazines, with students also being encouraged  and carrying out their self-learning in specialized sources and websites indicated by the teacher.
