This course explores the crucial interaction between Globalisation, Human Rights and Tourism, an area of activity that is constantly changing. In the field of tourism, it is essential to understand the impacts of globalisation (economic, social, cultural) and their intrinsic relationship with human rights. The unit covers everything from an introduction to fundamental concepts to contemporary challenges such as sustainable development and multiculturalism in international tourism. The analysis of practical case studies will enable students to apply this knowledge. The relevance of this unit in the study cycle lies in its ability to provide a critical and comprehensive view of the sector's challenges and opportunities in a globalised world, enabling future professionals to act in an ethical and informed manner.

Learning based on discussion of problems and case studies and final presentation in the form of a project: Development of practical proposals for real challenges in national tourism. Oxford-style debates and critical discussions with analysis of recent news and events related to globalisation and human rights in tourism.
