Class Direct Printing Techniques and Do-it-yourself Stamping

In this course students experiment many printing and stamping techniques that can complement their graphic and pictorial skills.

Active methodologies that articulate theory and practice and the construction of knowledge by students. In addition to traditional classes on programme content (lectures, using audiovisual media), a permanent attitude of research and enquiry is proposed and learning by doing is encouraged. These methods are fundamental in the training of artists. The assessment favours the formative dimension, through a series of works in various printing techniques and a final project. Assessment criteria: Participation, attendance and co-operation (20%); Completion of work in class or at home (30%); Final project - artist's book (50%).
