Prof. Dr. Andriy Lyubchyk: In 2027 MSc in Phys. Chem. National University of Ukraine. In 2013 PhD in Chem. Eng. New University of Lisbon, Portugal. In 2016-2019 Integrated Researcher CEMOP/Uninova - Centre of Excellence in Microelectronics Optoelectronics & Processes, CENIMAT – Center of Materials Investigation, Dept of Material Science, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In 2019-2022 Director of Research & Strategic Advisor, SME NANOTECH Ltd, Ukraine. Since 2021 Assistant Professor, Docent Universidade Lusofona, Research Centre in Industrial Engineering Management and Sustainability, Portugal. Since Dec 2021, co-Founder & CEO of Start-up CASCATACHUVA. Since 2014 Coordinator and Principal Investigator of “humidity to electricity“ conversion technology with total raised funds of ca. 5.4M Euro. Current research interests 1. Chemical Engineering • Kinetics, thermodynamics and mechanism of the adsorption processes from gas and liquid phases • Development and production of the porous carbon-based materials and composites • Natural gas adsorption and separation 2. Materials Science • Nanomaterials (Si based thin films and nanopowder) design and application • Nanomaterials (nanocarbons composites and metal organic frameworks (MOFs)) design and application • Ceramics • Advanced organic materials (board panel prototype based on a solid-state electrochromic cell) elaboration 3. Industry-oriented Research • Si based thin films solar cells investigation aiming at their production • Electrochromic materials transformations aiming at their applications for display boards • Waste recovery and re-used (including biomass, petroleum and wood preservation industry and waste). Application to the Leather/Textile and Metals Production Industries 4. Modeling of Chemical Processes • Modeling of the Hydrogen; methane, ethane, propane and butane adsorption on MOFs 5. Renewable Energy • Thin film Si-based solar cells deposition (CVD) • Thin film Si-based solar cells characterization • Humidity to electricity conversion
