Class Introduction to Profession

This curricular unit intends to introduce fundamental concepts and competences for the different areas of the pharmaceutical profession, in order to enhance the professional performance of new pharmacists, preparing them from the outset for a future super competitive labor market.

Classes take place in a seminar environment with external guests. Students in all classes summarise the topic of the previous class, with a view to active participation. The assessment is continuous and includes, in addition to the attendance, the realisation of an assignment on a topic of pharmacy and pharmaceutical products. Fieldwork" type teaching with various seminars throughout the semester to raise awareness of the different areas in which pharmacists intervene in society.
