Objectives
Objectives
Understand the pathogenesis and recognize the lesional picture and the macroscopic and microscopic abnormalities inherent to the pathological processes affecting the respiratory tract, digestive tract and associated glands, cardiovascular system, urinary system and integument of livestock and domestic animals including some exotic species. Perform necropsies and elaboration of necropsy reports

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The Pathological Anatomy course offers "hands-on" learning, in which students have the opportunity to perform necropsies and observe diseases in the necropsy room . This approach based on the problem-based learning method, is based on the elaboration of reports as an autonomous work to deepen the knowledge about the cases studied. This methodology encourages research and independent study, providing a more meaningful understanding of theoretical concepts and the development of critical skills for medical practice.
