    Knowledge of the basics of oncology and tumor biology. Understand the basics of cancer diagnosis and staging. Understand concepts, strengths and limitations of the various imaging modalities in cancer patients. Knowledge of the imaging methods in the evaluation of lymph nodes. Knowledge of CT as a tool in cancer diagnosis and staging (including sentinel lymph node mapping, multiphase CT, CT-guided biopsies, among others). Approach to other imaging tools in oncology (scintigraphy, PET-CT and PET-MR).

    - Understand the essential role of imaging in the process of diagnosis and/or staging and follow-up in cancer patients. - Understand imaging as an essential tool in surgical and radiotherapy planning in oncological diseases.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Theoretical and practical contents will be made available digitally after each class, integrating theory and practice to enhance students' interest and understanding. The goal is to provide up-to-date knowledge that keeps pace with scientific and technological innovations. Theoretical: Lectures using audiovisual resources, encouraging analysis, discussion, and critical thinking. Practical: Supervised classes focused on training in specific techniques, discussion of clinical cases, interpretation of exams, bibliographic research, and report writing with teacher guidance.
