The CU of Internship in Forensic Psychology aims to provide students with tools that allow them to correctly apply in a practical context the knowledge acquired in the CUs taught during the first year of the Master's degree. It provides students with permanent supervision during the course of their internships, developing in the classroom-context different activities ranging from case formulation to the delivery of prevention/intervention programs, whitin the field of Forensic Psychology, taking into account the characteristics of the host institution, as well as the features of the target-population.

Syllabus
S1. Internship in Forensic Psychology: Student's activities, ethics and deontology; S2. Preparation of the internship plan; S3. Presentation of the activities and case-studies whitin the theoretical basis of Forensic Psychology; S4. The process of forensic psychological assessment; S5. The design and delivery of prevention/intervention protocols; S6. Assessment of the effectiveness of intervention programs; S7. Case studies reports; S8. Preparation of the internship report.

Objectives
LO1. To demonstrate skills for observation and identification of specific contexts, assessment of needs, and reflection on the skills for the practice of forensic psychology. LO2. To demonstrate communication and relationship skills, and skills for intervention and work in multidisciplinary teams. LO3. To recognize the relevance of research for the continuous improvement of professional practices. LO4. To demonstrate skills of understanding assessment targets/goals and their integration for planning intervention. LO5. To apply assessment methods and tools and intervention strategies, fitted to the cases specificities and based on emprical evidence. LO6. To promote ethical and critical reflection on intervention effectiveness and efficacy. LO7. To demonstrate skills of critical thinking about practice and personal and professional development.
