The objective of the CU is to provide students with an institutional experience in companies or other institutions, with local supervisors at the host institution, but still under the supervision of the instructor from the ULHT. In their internship, students should have direct contact with the professional practices associated with psychology within the business environment or in contexts of psychosocial intervention. Students are oriented in their learning process in this first approach to the professional environment, so that they can make use of the knowledge, skills and instruments acquired during the master's degree. Specifically, the UC should contribute to the acquisition of skills related to the definition of the role of the psychologist in organizations, the analysis of specific organizational contexts, the application of knowledge, the acquisition of specific skills in the field of social and organizational psychology, and critical analysis of organizational practice.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The UC includes 350 work hours at the institution hosting the internship. The supervision by the student's advisory professor is carried out in a set of Work Orientation-format sessions, focusing on the particular issues of each student's internship, as well as on the discussion and sharing of information, knowledge and experiences. In the sessions, the students and the counselor discuss questions on the role of the psychologist in organizations, the specific activities carried out, and share theoretical and practical contents of social and organizational psychology the different internship contexts, stimulating reflection and critical analysis.
