Objectives
LO1. Describe and critically conceptualize the concepts of sex education and sexuality counseling. LO 1.1. Identification of the main models of communication and understanding of sex education and sex counseling, their typologies, and their applications to different contexts, actors, and target populations. LO 1.2. Knowing how to recognize and select the most appropriate assessment methods in these contexts LO 1.3. Train communication skills LO 1.4. Recognize and apply general and specific interventions according to the objective and target population. LO.2. Develop higher education programs and counseling plans based on specific and concrete objectives.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The syllabus will be taught using a variety of methodologies, namely: oral presentation of contents (ME1); brainstorming (ME2); interactive dialogue and guided discussion (ME3); discussion of cases (ME4); exercises (individual or in groups) to apply the concepts taught (ME5); dramatization/role-play exercises (ME6); tutoring of ongoing group work (ME7); research, reading, analysis and discussion of scientific articles and other relevant literature (ME8); For the evaluation of the curricular unit, students can choose to: 1. Continuous assessment: written work ( 4 0% weight) , with oral presentation ( 2 0% weight), and a role-play of a sexual counseling situation/sex education program (40% weighting). To succeed in the UC, the final weighted average of the three assessment elements must be equal to or greater than 10 points. 2. Final assessment. Written exam with 100% weighting
