Syllabus
Dependent on the chosen theme for the development of research work. The student is given the option to choose between the four scientific research areas: 1. Natural Environment and Urban landscape; 2. The built environment, Infrastructure, Equipment and transport; 3. Society, Governance and Territorial administration and; 4. Applied Urbanism and Urban Design. These research areas are defined and in coordination with the Research Centre.

Objectives
Objectives
Preparation and development of research that supports the development of an original dissertation to be presented in a public examination for the degree of Master. Should verify that candidates have acquired: 1. Ability to understand systematically the field of Urbanism; master the competencies, skills and research methods associated with the scientific field of Urbanism; 2. Ability to design and implement and communicate a project depth original research that contributes to extending the frontiers of knowledge and technological progress, social or cultural in full respect of academic ethics.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Dedicated support for each student, with the exploration of their research topics for the completion of the master's degree. In addition to imparting knowledge about research practice, concepts and standards for carrying out research and communicating results, the specific issue to be developed by the student within the scope of their research is addressed, motivating them to join ongoing research projects or assisting in the challenge of creating new projects.
