Objectives
Objectives
In this curricular unit it will be taught knowledge about the different types of chemical and biological reactors in terms of their characteristics, applications, operating conditions and dimensioning, in order to acquire the necessary tools for selection and design of a reactor. Knowledge about aeration, agitation and control of temperature and biological reactors in waste water treatment will also be addressed.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
This CU will use some active methodologies that promote greater student involvement in pedagogical activities, such as Flipped Classroom. This methodology will be used in the most practical and laboratory aspects, carried out in a collaborative environment (in groups) and always with peer assessment and self-assessment. Although laboratory work is not an innovative methodology, it is considered important to mention here since carrying it out helps in the consolidation of theoretical contents and in the students' involvement. In terms of digital technologies, the following will be used: moodle; data analysis (Excel or SPSS); Google Forms.
