Knowledge about what is the difference between Quality vs Quantity, considering: Haute Couture, Prêt-à-Porter and Fast Fashion; The Details and “Limited Edition” Factor; Fashion and the creation of groups that may or may not influence trends and consumption and style habits; The side effects of Fast-Fashion production on the environment and society; Fashion dictated or dictated?; Technological innovation in contemporary fashion: the fashion designer, the technology and contexts of exhibition; Art in contemporary fashion: the fashion designer, the art and the contexts of exhibition.

Objectives
Fashion cover various aspects of society: the consume, politics, social fenomena, economical strategies, local costumes, cultural life, demographic evolution, cientific discoveries, costumes and attitudes. Ability to research and work influences; Ability to use different methodologies of data treatment.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Through visual presentations will be focused aspects of research and analysis of trends. In class will be developed planned practical works. The evaluation will be continuous, based on class works and their results.
