In the discipline of the Roman Law and Peninsular Law, dealing with Roman Law and the historical-legal cycle after the Romanization of the Iberian Peninsula. Through its study, it aims, in addition to a formative summit, to show the decisive Romanist foundations of prevailing Portuguese law, especially within the scope of private law. At the same time, the Romanist foundations of a common European law will be weighed down.
