  • Presentation

    Presentation

The subject Voice and Singing I initiates practical work that is structurally necessary in the training of actors/performers in Dramatic Arts. An efficient and versatile vocal expression is an essential component for this type of performer, and Voice and Singing I encompass the practical development of various abilities and skills related to spoken and sung voice, as well as theoretical knowledge and understanding of topics related to an efficient and versatile approach to vocal use in various contexts. In addition to raising awareness of one's own vocal sound and recognizing one's voice type among the six existing types, technical work is carried out on the eight characteristics of the voice. Furthermore, a comprehensive approach to vocal technique (posture, breathing, vibration, projection, intonation, articulation, diction, among others) is initiated, with application to both spoken and singing voice.
