Class Basic Psychological Processes III

  • Presentation

    Presentation

The UC aims to contribute to the recognition of the specificities of language and human emotions as systems of communication, interpersonal relation, and socialization, as well as their phylogenetic and evolutionary value. The interdependent relationship between these processes and cognitive processes is also discussed, as well as the development of language (spoken and written) and of emotion and other affective processes (e.g., emotional regulation). In the case of language, the systems of written language and its learning processes in the context of the alphabetic system are also discussed. The implications of emotions and emotional regulation for motivation and mental health are also discussed.   The UC includes theoretical and laboratory classes and includes the discussion of scientific texts, planning, and execution of experimental tasks, and tutorial sessions between students and professors for the preparation of reports.
