    This course in Social Psychology explores the scientific study of thought and social behavior. It aims to contribute to depth knowledge of the subject and the main themes of social psychology. Major topics include an introduction and overview of the field, the role of the mind in life and social behavior, and the nature of social interactions.  It is also intended for students to discuss and analyze the syllabus addressed critically, transposing some of the problems to everyday situations.

    Objectives

    LO1: To know and understand the object of social psychology, main influences, historical marks, and current research trends. LO2: Identify and distinguish the different social influence processes and explain their role in individual choices and group processes. LO3: Understand and explain the role of social cognition in everyday life and social behavior. OA4: Understand fundamental interpersonal dynamics, knowing the main explanatory theories, relating them in order to adopt a critical position related to its main assumptions. LO5: Analyze and critically discuss behavior and social thinking, transposing theoretical and scientific knowledge to contemporary social problems.
