Contents description 3D Modeling Understand the nature of three-dimensional meshes and volumes in computer graphics, respective formats and technical setups. Know how to analyze object geometry aiming their virtual 3D representation. Know how to manipulate the creation and editing tools of meshes and three-dimensional graphic volumes. Texturing Compose textures and materials based on their graphic components configuration. Apply textures and materials to 3D meshes and volumes. Map 3D graphic elements and setup the projection particulars of CG mapping. Lighting and photometry Understand and know how to setup lighting elements of objects and virtual environments. Understand and know how to setup the photometric calibration parameters. 3D image production Know how to setup image production features based on 3D models or scenarios. Develop a set of technical, aesthetic and conceptual skills that will allow one to execute projects of 3D modeling in the areas of creative and technical composition using 3D graphic creation and editing software. Advance analysis, observation and representation abilities through 3D modeling and editing tools. Image composition from a virtual environment. Build-up analysis, observation and representation abilities through 3D modeling and editing tools. Image composition based on virtual environment creation. Creation and editing of 3D models for use in other computer graphics software.
