The UC of Video and Audio Technologies is of a practical nature, predominantly laboratory practice, in the area of ¿¿construction and creation of audiovisual projects based on challenges proposed throughout the semester by teachers aiming at the acquisition and development of skills in the areas of image in movement and respective sound environments. It explores the theoretical and technical aspects of building and creating sound and visual artifacts, exploring and experimenting with audiovisual acquisition, manipulation and editing processes. The student will be brought into contact with themes such as the articulation of the audiovisual object in social and aesthetic cultural contexts, as well as the use of specific software and tools in the field of video, photography and audio. This is also a curricular unit that aims to train the student in a specific field and in the articulation of the objects developed with the other areas of the new media.

Be able to conceptualize an audiovisual project suited to the objective. Develop communication skills Identify the different types of assembly; Develop aesthetic skills and careful listening Being able to organize a project in a capable and viable way to be viewed by others; Acquire notion of rhythm, duration of plan and formal adaptation of the montage to the sense of narration; Identify the basic elements common to each of the editing software taught in class; Recognize Processes, Techniques and mechanisms for editing work; Operate sound capture techniques Develop skills in terms of sound editing and signal processing.
