Resume

Blandina Maria da Silva Soares is a permanent member of the Consulting Board of the Institute of Registries and Notary (2023-2023) and Registrar (2002-2013). Completed a Law Degree, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Direito, Escola do Porto, 1997; a Master Degree, Universidade do Porto, Faculdade de Direito, 2015; a Postgraduate, Administrative Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Direito, Escola do Porto, 2018; and is a PHD student, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Direito, Escola do Porto. Has participated in numerous conferences within the scope of Civil Law and Registries and Notary; it is training Registrars, Notaries and Solicitors; it was a member of working groups chaired by the European Commission, within the scope of the European Succession Regulation; it was one of the juries of the VI, VII, VIII and IX public exams for the attribution of the Notary Title, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023; author of an Annotated Land Registry Code, published in 2009, and co-author of the book The European Regulations - Impact on the activity of Registry Officers and Notaries, 2020.
