Nuno Miguel Magarinho Bessa Moreira

Resume

Nuno Bessa Moreira holds a Ph.D. in History from Faculty of Humanities - University of Porto. His doctoral research was developed under the scope of the history of historiography, a field that investigates the spatial-temporal and socio-cultural conditions of historians' biographies, as well as their practices, discourses and representations. Currently, he is a researcher in the field of the history of historiography and history of the intellectuals. He is the author of numerous articles (indexed and non-indexed) and has also taken part in various events (conferences and congresses) with papers on the above mentioned research areas. He has also been a member of CITCEM - FLUP since 2007.In 2014 he was awarded with a research prize by the CIJVS (Professor Veríssimo Serrão Research Center). In November 2017, he was awarded with the Friend of the Brazilian Navy Medal by Dr. Artur Victoria. In 2016 he completed the national defense course with a grade of 18. He is currently a professor at Lusófona University - Unversitary Centre of Porto, where he has been teaching since 2018.
