    PC1 – Planning and structuring a research project in Education 1.1. Defining the topic and the research problem 1.2. Formulating the initial question and general and specific objectives 1.3. Compiling and updating the specialized bibliography 1.4. Construction of the theoretical and conceptual framework 1.5. Definition of the methodological design: qualitative, quantitative, or mixed options 1.6. Selection and justification of data collection instruments 1.7. Data analysis strategies and study validity 1.8. Project schedule, resources, and stages PC2 – Critical and ethical reflection on the research process 2.1. Internal coherence of the project: articulation between problem, objectives, methodology, and analysis 2.2. Ethical and deontological issues in educational research 2.3. Limits and potentialities of research projects in real contexts 2.4. Scientific writing and academic communication of the project

    Objectives

    LO1. Apply the knowledge acquired in the Research Methodologies course unit. TM: Interactive lectures and practical workshops. LO2. Develop a research program with a clear definition of the problem, objectives, and theoretical framework. TM: Project analysis and structuring exercises. LO3. Structure and formally present a research project. TM: Tutorial support and guided writing. LO4. Select methodologies appropriate to the object and context of the study. TM: Case studies and methodological debates. LO5. Develop autonomous and continuous learning skills. TM: Individual work and formative feedback. OA6. Communicate knowledge and reflections to different interlocutors. TM: Oral presentations and written summaries. OA7. Produce an individual piece of work based on the concepts of the UC. TM: Final written project with tutorial support.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    TM1: Lectures and practical workshops to explore the stages of project development, combining theory and practice. (Linked to the Pedagogical Model). Promotes: a solid theoretical foundation, critical thinking, and autonomy. TM2: Group discussions with analysis of real projects in Education, promoting collective reflection on methodological decisions. (Linked to the Pedagogical Model). Promotes: dialogue between peers and co-construction of knowledge. TM 3: Practical activities for formulating problems, objectives, instruments, and research plans. (Articulation with the Pedagogical Model). Promotes: investigative skills and practical applicability. TM 4: Tutoring and continuous formative feedback on the projects developed.
