The UC Inclusive and Adapted Education is part of the 2nd cycle in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, scientific area Education. It aims to provide up-to-date basic knowledge and its reflection on the main issues of Inclusive and Adapted Physical Education. Additionally, it is intended that students recognize the pertinence of this knowledge and reflections for the practical issues of their professional future.

CP1) Education and difference, historical perspective CP2) Legal Regime on Inclusive Education: contextualization, guiding principles, student profile, universal design for learning, autonomy and curricular flexibility CP3) Pedagogical Differentiation in teaching essential learning in Physical Education, considering the heterogeneity of learning levels, cultural diversity, along with gender issues and the multiplicity of personal life projects CP4) Intercultural approach to difference(s) in Physical Education, as a factor of inclusion and encouragement of school coexistence and the fight against bullying CP5) Pedagogical intervention with students with specific characteristics: blindness and deafness, cognitive development disorders, autism, hyperactivity and attention deficit, specific learning difficulties or giftedness CP6) Collaborative strategies for integrating specific and organizational resources to support learning and inclusion

Objectives
Objectives
Learning objectives (LO) are defined: AO1) Know the evolution of the core concepts of inclusive education, as a reference paradigm of the educational system(s). OA2) Identify pedagogical differentiation strategies to respond to the multiple needs, learning styles and experiences of students, following the steps of the multilevel approach in accessing the physical education curriculum. OA3) Demonstrate collaborative work skills in planning, implementing and evaluating inclusive and adapted physical education activities.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies (TM) will be used: Exhibition and Analysis of reference documentation (TM1); Observation, discussion and analysis of videos and/or practical activities in real context (TM2), Resolution of practical cases, in a simulated planning situation, organization and intervention in the context of teaching and learning (TM3), Small group activities (TM4), Feedback on work developed (TM5).
