Ivanilda B. Costa is a Phd student in the Clinical Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioural Approach program at Universidade Lusófona and a licensed clinical psychologist. She has been granted a doctoral grant by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia ( Ref. 2024.00914.BD.) to develop her doctoral project titled "SIYA-PT: An Internet-based CBT intervention to enhance low self-esteem", with the focus on the development of a culturally sensitive adaptation of a seven-week internet-based CBT intervention for low self-esteem in a sample of emerging adults, while considering the ethnic diversity of the Portuguese population. She is a teaching assistant for the BSc degree in psychology at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa.
