Conference Cycle Before That Dawn We Were Waiting For
The Authoritarian Regime, Informers, Resistance Literature, Cinema, the Press and Emigration
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of 25 April 1974, the board of FCAATI is organising a cycle of five conferences between 21 March and 28 May 2024, aimed at portraying the Estado Novo from different angles and perspectives. The guests, selected by Professor Moisés de Lemos Martins, will discuss, among other topics, the authoritarian regime of the time, informers, resistance literature, cinema, the press and emigration.
