Seminary Seminar to reflect on the seriousness of domestic violence
2nd Session "Domestic Violence: An Interdisciplinary Reflection Beyond Crime"
Domestic violence continues to be a particularly serious social problem in our country and beyond. It is a complex phenomenon, both because of its consequences for the victims and their families, and because of its multifaceted causes, which are very difficult to grasp, even with the most accurate criminological analysis.
In this same context, CEAD - the Francisco Suárez Centre for Advanced Studies in Law is organizing, in partnership with CeiED - the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development, a second seminar as part of the VDCrim research project - "Domestic violence: a multidisciplinary reflection beyond crime". It will bring together researchers from different areas of knowledge, including criminal law, forensic psychology and educational sciences, in order to debate, from a holistic and critical perspective, the main challenges of the subject and a possible broad horizon of solutions.
