This discipline aims to complement and develop the knowledge acquired in the Air Law curricular unit. In this context, the study of the international, European and national regulatory regime is deepened and matters relating to the rules applicable to the air transport activity are addressed, including the approach to aircraft rental contracts, the airworthiness regime, and aerodrome certification. and security against acts of unlawful interference, as well as the single european sky and the provision of air navigation services, endowing students with vast knowledge, in various areas, in order to prepare them for the labor market in the civil aviation sector .

The international, European and national regulatory regime for civil aviation - Deepening the matter; Regulation (EU) No. 2018/1139, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 4 July 2018, on common rules in the field of civil aviation establishing the European Union Aviation Safety Agency; Technical requirements and administrative procedures for air operations; Operating licenses for commercial air transport operators (Regulation (EC) No. 1008/2008); Aircraft lease contracts/rental agreements; Agreements between air carriers; Initial and continuing airworthiness of aircraft; The legal regime for market access and the exercise of traffic rights in non-EU scheduled air transport; Handling and Slots; Security against acts of unlawful interference in civil aviation, and Facilitation; The regime applicable to aerodrome certification; The Provision of Air Navigation Services in the Single European Sky and the Organization of Airspace.

Objectives
Objectives
Provide students with knowledge about the bodies with competence to pass legislation and regulations applicable to the civil aviation sector. It is also intended that they learn about the different types of normative and regulatory acts that approve civil aviation technical standards. This course also aims to deepen the knowledge acquired in the UC of Air Law and to make known the main rules applicable to commercial air transport, as well as the technical regulations applicable to the licensing of air carriers, the initial and permanent airworthiness of aircraft, the legal regime access to the market and the exercise of traffic rights in non-EU scheduled air transport, security against acts of unlawful interference in civil aviation, certification of aerodromes and the provision of air navigation services in the single European sky.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Interactive presentation through audiovisual projection. Oral, textual and graphic exposition of the subject, accompanied by debates to encourage students' participation in the training process itself. Resolution of some practical cases. Evaluation: Two written tests (each one is worth 50% of the final grade); Final exam for students who do not have continuous evaluation grade.
