Objectives
Objectives
It is intended that students acquire the following skills and knowledge: knowledge of the International System of units and conversion between systems of units, verification of the dimensional coherence of equations; cinematic study of simple and compound movements in the line, plane and space; Study of the movement of the material point, particle systems and the rigid body: application of kinematics, Newton's Laws and mechanical energy. Practical understanding of general principles and application to simple physical systems. Establishment of relations between the movement and its causes; mastery of the concepts of energy and momentum; knowledge of the descriptive quantities of continuous media mechanics and its application to fluid mechanics.
