This Curricular Unit has as main objectives to provide the student with a set of methodological, technical, aesthetic and conceptual knowledge, necessary for the proper execution of projects of a Web nature, based on the Content Management System (CMS) Wordpress platform. The student must be able to apply, with aesthetic and conceptual coherence, the technical contents taught, taking into account the good practices of Design for the Web.

- Design methodologies applied to a website project; -Technical attributes of accessibility and usability essential to a web layout; -Techniques and processes for creating and editing digital images; -Creating web projects using Content Management System platforms; -Introduction to Artificial Intelligence tools applied to the process of generating image and text content.

Objectives
Objectives
The main objective of this course unit is the proper execution of web projects based on a Content Management System (CMS) platform. This objective is based on the acquisition of the following competences: -Graphic design applied to interactive systems and social networks; -Fundamental concepts of visual composition, colour and typography; - Application of digital image processing and editing techniques and processes; -Distinguishing and knowing how to work with vector images and bitmaps; -Develop creative, conceptual and technical skills; - Adapt the design project to the intended target audience; - Use Artificial Intelligence tools to support the generation of text and image content for websites; - Structuring a web page and its elements; - Apply presentation and navigation strategies; - Recognise and apply the techniques and principles of CMS systems (Wordpress).

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Expository classes will be used to present the syllabus using audiovisual elements. Practical exercises will be given, using image editing software and Content Management System platforms, and a semester project will be developed with the professor assistance.
