    Topic 1: Mental Health and Psychopathology Concepts of mental health and mental illness; Models for understanding psychopathology. Topic 2: Mood Disorders Major Depressive Disorder; Bipolar Disorder; Grief versus depression.. Topic 3: Anxiety Disorders Generalized Anxiety Disorder; Phobias and panic attacks; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Topic 4: Psychotic Disorders and Other Severe Conditions Schizophrenia; Schizoaffective Disorder; Disorganized behavior and signs of psychotic episodes. Topic 5: Addictive Behaviors Abuse and dependence on alcohol and other drugs; Topic 6: Other Relevant Conditions in the Aesthetic/beauty care and wellness Context Eating disorders; Body dysmorphia: obsession with perceived physical flaws; Personality disorders and inappropriate behavior during consultations. Recognize the limits of intervention within the scope of Beauty care and Well-being, referring clients to specialized mental health services when necessary, following ethical referral protocols. Apply principles of confidentiality, respect for autonomy, and client dignity.
