Class Biochemistry Project

The aim of this CU is for students to use the knowledge acquired in the various curricular units of the Biochemistry degree and apply it in a practical case of experimental work in research and/or professional biochemistry. As a CU of the last semester of the Biochemistry degree and of an experimental nature, it is intended to help students to develop a structured work, having contact with research work, writing scientific reports and presenting results. The aim is to prepare students for the next cycle of studies or professional life.

To be defined case by case, but will be of practical character, in which the student performs original research work during 28-30 days (8 h of laboratory work per day). These research activities will be developed in Universidade Lusófona, but can also be developed in other research centers or companies. The project proposal if needed will be submitted to the Ethics Committee for Scientific Research of EPCV.

This CU allows students to choose the area in which they wish to develop the project. Projects are offered in different areas of biochemistry and can be carried out in Lusófona or in different universities/research centres and companies.
