Enable students to distinguish between different business models, such as startups, spin-offs, joint ventures, and CROs, and understand the advantages and challenges associated with each. Provide a comprehensive view of the interactions between biotech companies, big pharma, universities, and research centers, highlighting the synergies and complementarities in the sector. Teach students to apply innovation strategies, both incremental and disruptive, using emerging technologies. Prepare students to deal with specific regulatory and ethical challenges. Empower students to develop effective market entry strategies. Encourage an entrepreneurial, critical, and innovative mindset, preparing students to identify opportunities and create value in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector.
