Teaching methodologies and assessment
The curricular unit is taught through theoretical-practical classes with the presentation of syllabus contents through audiovisual means (PowerPoint) and excerpts from texts from the bibliography. Theoretical-practical evolves by thematic content according to the program, foreseeing the direct involvement of students through oral presentations, carried out in groups, of texts from the bibliography or films related to the disciplinary contents and followed by a debate. The Wolf of Wall Street movie, directed by Martin Scorsese, is related to the contents of the UC. Presentations form an integral part of the final assessment. This UC requires a continuous assessment system (AC) of acquired knowledge and skills, whic includes: Oral presentation of a topic/problem (40%). Frequency (50%). Participation in classes (10%). Students who do not obtain a positive classification in the continuous assessment system or choose not to carry it out have access to the evaluation system by exam.
