Presentation
The UC Air Pollution will be developed in order to introduce students to the issue and relevance of this theme in the real and professional context. In this CU students will evelop skills and tools that will allow them to integrate projects/professional activities in the area of air quality, in terms of indoor and outdoor air quality. Given the definition and competencies attributed to an environmental engineer, the area of air quality management integrated into the study cycle of the Environmental Engineering degree stands out in all its aspects due to its current importance in environmental terms (Atmospheric pollution), as the quality of life of the population (indoor air quality).

Objectives
Objectives
To understand the importance and the actual reality of air pollution and indoor air contamination: emission sources, air pollutants, transport of pollutants, consequences on the environment and health, among others. To know applicable law and how to interpret and apply it in practical case studies. To know the sampling techniques and analytical methods for each air pollutant. Know the main technologies available in the control of pollutant emission in indoor and outdoor environments. To understand the importance of air quality management plans. Ability to identify possible sources of pollution and know how to act to mitigate and minimize their emissions. To be able to analyse indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring data, including assessing legal compliance.
