The program is divided into two main areas, the security audit to buildings, especially in the aspect of fire safety, and expertise to incidents and accidents, particularly in the event of fire and explosion: AUDIT AND BUILDINGS IN SECURITY EXPERTISE Key systems in buildings; Protection systems and safety of buildings; Industrial installations; Special buildings. SAFETY AUDIT Applicable legislation; Duties of the auditor; Objectives of an audit; Preparation of an audit. Performing a security audit; Corrective or compensatory measures; Characterization and establishment of audit reports. EXPERTISE OF ACCIDENTS Expert assignments; Objectives of expertise; Research and identification of causes: data collection and registration, evaluation or reconstitution scenarios; Determining responsibility; Assessments; Characterization and establishment of expert reports.

- Fundamental concepts, methods and practices on security auditing, in light of the main applicable regulatory standards and procedures. . Ditto, regarding accident expert opinion processes. - How to conduct auditing and safety expert opinion processes in buildings from the perspective of fire risk. - How to instruct processes and prepare reports auditing and safety expert opinion processes in buildings from the perspective of fire risk. - Communication interaction and preparation of documentation associated with audit and expert opinion processes.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The methods of teaching and learning will be based on work done in class, as well as in the student work in context. During the theoretical and practical sessions, the Faculty will do the presentation and discussion of the syllabus, with application of the acquired knowledge to concrete situations. Students will be involved in the discussion of themes in analysis, in the resolution of exercises or problems proposed and, if necessary, in experimental or field activity as well as they will be required to perform extra work class. At certain times, require the student, individually or in a group, exposure and oral defense of his work. The tutorials sessions will be dedicated to an informal contact with the student, to support their work and guides you in their studies.
