Syllabus
1. Journalism ethics. Meaning of the study of deontology. Basic concepts: ethics, morals, law and deontology. “Duty” perspective and “finalist” perspective. Deontological principles from the perspective of professional training. The Codes of Ethics 2 Deontological codes: concept, origin, value. The normative content of codes: rights and duties. Deontology from the perspective of institutions. Deontology and the journalistic company. Trade union and professional institutions and independent administrative authorities. 3. Deontology in the "new public space". 4. Theories and debates on social responsibility of the media.
