    How to approach an image: ways of seeing Punctum and studio Appropriation and remix the digital art NFT and artificial intelligence visit to exhibitions Meetings with artists and curators visit to museums Analysis of contemporary works Analysis of the work of the main national and foreign contemporary artists.
  • Objectives

    Objectives

    Acquire a useful set of knowledge within the scope of contemporary visual culture; understand the relationship and interactions of Design with Culture, Arts and Society in the context of post-modernity and contemporaneity; to promote the approximation and integration of themes and activities with the core subjects of the course; understand the importance of the theoretical-practical problematization proposed by the discipline; become aware that designers can work outside the common and pre-established areas of the profession, dealing with issues from the most diverse fields, participating in transdisciplinary teams, designing and producing strategies, concepts, ideas and artifacts that incorporate complex critical values, investigating theories and alternative processes, applying these results to quality productions and creative design acumen.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Use of the move/do strategy which aims to adopt a hybrid approach by associating several disciplines and several teachers in the same project. Working in an interdisciplinary way so that all concepts, systems and technologies make sense contributes to a richer vision of what you want to convey and investigate.
