    This course aims to provide students with critical skills related to the quality and functionality of interactive products. Critically discuss the impact of the interactive technologies in daily lives and in the way they change what and how we do. Introduce concepts and practices of interactive products design and development. Develop skills to design interactive products based on human computer interaction methodologies. Address accessibility through different platforms and development process. Provide students with basics for creating Web pages using HTML structure and CSS style sheets.

    I. Introduction to user-centered design methodologies and techniques; II. The human-computer interaction and the role of the designer; III. Usability IV. Introduction to HTML pages building V. Introduction to CSS style sheets.

    Objectives

    Develop critical and self-critical analysis skills for interactive products. Identify common methods in the user-centered design process for developing interactive products. Apply interactive product design and evaluation methods Identify design and development strategies to increase the accessibility of interactive products. Create web pages using HTML and CSS.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    In this curricular unit, design problems are solved with the active participation of students in the search for solutions, supported by the theoretical component and weekly supervision by the lecturer. A project-oriented learning methodology is combined with active learning in an iterative process.
