Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The professor presents the material, often supported by examples (written or otherwise) produced by radio professionals, and directs/fixes students individual works with the purpose of microphone reading performance. Students record the work they prepared, with immediate correction by the professor (content and communicative attitude/spirit). The professor may ask students to work (text and/or recordings) outside the classroom. The assessment takes for granted the rules concerning attendance to classes determined by the school, the continuous assessment scheme, but distinguishes higher or lower attendance and quality of work for pupils in classes (40%+15% of the final grade), and it implies a final work conducting or reporting news (45% of the final grade).
