This is an introductory course in a specific area of ¿¿psychology - neuropsychology - with relevance to the understanding of crime and its authors. The syllabus of this uc include aspects studied by neuropsychology, such as brain injury (traumatic brain injury), the consumption of toxic substances and dementia, which can be explanatory of a criminal practice and fundamental for the definition of an appropriate intervention in the law and reinsertion institutions. Given the contributions of Neuropsychology to Criminology, this uc represents an important issue in the training of students of this degree.

Objectives
Objectives
- Acquire knowledge about the neuropsychological approach and its relationship with human behavior in the analysis of criminal deviation. Specifically, to know the different neuropsychological syndromes; knowing how to recognize them through cognitive analysis and behavioral observation; - Know the neuropsychological deficits, integrate the cognitive aspects with the neurofunctional; - Understand the relationship between neuropsychological changes, Daily Life Activities (DLA ¿s) and their relationship with forensic and criminal practices - Understand the principles, objectives and specificities of criminal neuropsychological assessment and the models that support it in forensic and criminal psychology
