Syllabus
From idea to project, the script phases. Characterization of characters, environments and props. The structure of the narrative and its variants. Internal and External Characterization. Construction of an animation script. The use of graphic elements in defining a physiognomy that reveals the psychological dimension of the character. Internal and External Characterization. Attitude drawings and model sheets. The use of perspective, color and light/dark in creating atmospheres and characterizing space.

Objectives
Objectives
At the end of the semester, the student should know the different procedures for creating a script, know how to characterize characters through writing and drawing without losing sight of the final film where everything will be integrated and developed. Have progressed in the field of developing creativity as a team; be able to write a script for animation, taking into account the future technique to be used. Distinguish between different formats (short and feature films and series) and adapt themes and structures to these works. The student will learn the method of creating a storyboard from the adaptation of a script, understand how it is integrated within the development and pre-production process in the production of an animated film and apply it to their own individual project.
