Objectives
Objectives
In the Electrical Installations course, students must develop technical knowledge and skills: - in order to fit low and medium voltage electrical installations into the National Electric System. - the characteristics and operating principles of low and medium voltage electrical equipment. - recognition, selection and design of all cutting and protection equipment in generic electrical installations. - agility in interpreting and reproducing electrical diagrams for simple low and medium voltage installations. - current safety rules and regulations. - sizing of simple electrical installations. - introduction to the design and dimensioning of BT electrical installations. - Design criteria for nterior and exterior lighting.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Classes are not strictly lecture-based; the teaching objectives are achieved through theoretical-practical classes, which include practical application exercises. Rather than merely lecture-based sessions, the theoretical sessions are intended to include a strong component of brainstorming and discussion of the topics under analysis. Practical application examples/exercises will be presented in the theoretical-practical sessions. Assessment will consist of short individual tests and small group projects.
