Class Low-Code and No-Code programming

Introduction to the main concepts and skills in Low Code and No Code development, enabling students to use the OutSystems platform to model, develop, and automate business processes. Focus on the advantages, challenges, and best practices for Low Code development, with integration to external systems and practical application in real projects, preparing students to meet the technological needs of modern organizations.

This course includes the following programmatic content (CPs): CP1: Framework and Motivation;  CP2: Fundamentals of Low Code;  CP3: Introduction to OutSystems CP4: Business Process Modeling with BPMN CP5: Development with OutSystems CP6: Integration and Extensibility CP7: Process Automation CP8: Best Practices and Governance CP9: Case Studies and Practical Applications    

The teaching and learning methodology of this course is active, focusing on the student, who is the main responsible for their learning process. There is a clear incentive for the development of the ability to absorb content autonomously and participatively, through case analyses, promotion of digital content, and critical discussion of the same, supporting the theoretical content taught. Additionally, students are challenged to carry out individual and group projects, with the aim of being presented and thus solidifying the knowledge acquired.
