Class Professional Practice IV

The Curricular Unit Prática Profissional IV presupposes a practical and personal apprenticeship. Over the knowledge of the physical functioning of breath, of articulation and of oral expression, it is sought the production of vocalic expressive sound, the study of voice resonators, and the skills concerning the word, applied to the creative exercise of playing theatrical text. In this context, the scope of the CU focuses on the following fields: Breathing, articulation, diction, projection and intonation. Resonators, intonation and inflection. Posture /movement/phisicality and sound production. Vocal/text understanding and expression in performative context, in order to serve the scene.

The intrinsic character of the discipline is rooted in a performing practise under technical and artistic guidance of a theater professional, which allows the students the contact with wider performing ranges.
